Official selection in Tallinn, Estonia

Two Friends has been selected for the International Student Short Film Competition Program at the 11th Student and Short Film Festival Sleepwalkers that takes place in Tallinn, Estonia from November 20 - 24, 2010.

This pleases us both because Two Friends will have its Estonian premiere but also because we are currently in talks with A. Film Estonia for a co-production on our next project. Read more about the festival here, it will be soon updated with screening times.

North American premiere and award!

Two Friends has been selected as one of five winners of the Student Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival 2010 which takes place from October 7 to October 11 in Hamptons, USA. We are very happy! Also, this will be our North American Premiere which is very exciting! We wish we could be there but unfortunately we are way too busy developing our next project...

Two Friends screens in the student competition where only five films from all over the world have been chosen as winners. The festival writes this about the student competition:

2010 marks the 18th successive year of the Hamptons International Film Festival Student Awards Shorts Program, which showcases spectacular work of student filmmakers from around the world. These five winners are recognized by the Festival for their talent and vision.

Great screening in Odense

Futureshorts in Odense

Both Two Friends and Paw's mid way film Nima from The National Film School of Denmark are shown at Futureshorts during the Odense International Film Festival. The screening takes place on the 26th of August at Brandts. The doors open at 6:30 PM and Paw will be there for an Q&A after the screenings. Read more about it here.

Official selection at Nordisk Panorama

520 films were entered for selection at this years Nordisk Panorama 5 Cities Film Festival 2010. Among these 37 short films have been selected for the Competition Programme. And we are very pleased that To Venner / Two Friends is one of these!

Nordisk Panorama is a showcase for the best new short films and documentaries from the five Nordic countires. The festival takes place this year in Bergen, Norway, from 24-29. September. We will post more when we have the exact screening dates & times.

"Two Friends" at Buster Film Festival

"Two Friends" has been selected for this years BUSTER Copenhagen International Film Festival for Children and Youth.

The festival, the biggest of its kind in Denmark, takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark from September 9th-19th. This will be "Two Friends" official national premiere.

"Two Friends" at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde

"Two Friends" and the 3 other animation graduation shorts + 1 game from The National Film School of Denmark will get their own exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde. The museum writes this: "The exhibition Animated is based on a series of very different films and shows how ideas come to life on the drawing board. The exhibition is exactly showing the audience how the film directors have given life and animated just their own perception of the adult world."


The exhibition takes place from June 19th to August 22 in Roskilde.

Film school premiere

On Friday the 11th of June "Two Friends" and the 3 other animation graduation shorts + 1 game had its premiere at the National Film School of Denmark. The 5 scheduled + 1 extra screenings were completely full. The critics also praised the films: we got 5 "hearts" in Politiken and 5 stars in Berlingske. Next stop: film festivals and screenings around the world... hopefully...
